New Challenge :: Pink and Yellow

>> Monday, July 11, 2011

Good morning Copic lovers! It is time again for a new challenge here at Mad for Markers and this time we have a challenge chosen by the lovely Tanya (who unfortunately had to step down from the DT due to other commitments) so I am posting this in her place :D

we would love for you to use PINK and YELLOW copics on your creations this fortnight! Here is a little inspiration to start you off....

I've pictured the Copics used in with the card but I will list them again for you so you know what went where....

the colours used are:
Face: R0000, R000, R01, RV91, R81
Dress: R81, 83, 85
Socks, R81, R0000
Hair: Y000, Y21
Bling: Y23, RV66
Ribbon: Y21

I also should mention that I stamped this "Blush" image (new from The Greeting Farm... she is out of stock but I have some more flying in soon!) onto watercolour card instead of nice smooth blending card! It creates an interesting effect and can be fun to see the ink getting soaked in, feathering.... but I must warn you that it does soak up your ink... so if you don't want to use up lots of ink at once then stick to the smooth blending card!!

We would very much love to see your creations!!

***N.B *** This week we are letting you vote on your favourite creations... which will replace the DT favourites ... we gave it a bit of a sneaky trial run last week and it seems like it could work ... so we will let you know when the voting is going to start ... make sure you get your cards in there by Sat so they can be voted on!!!

Oh yes... and one random winner will receive a pink and a yellow marker of their choice!
